Who Inspires You? Essay-Writing Contest
The National Women’s Hall of Fame is dedicated to honoring the achievements of American women.
News-O-Matic is partnering with the museum to celebrate the women of the hall. We’re inviting students to share their stories of the women who inspire them. The winner of the writing contest gets an expenses-paid trip to participate at the Women’s Hall of Fame induction ceremony in Seneca Falls, New York!

CONTEST DETAILS/RULES
WHO: This contest is open to all children (age 14 or younger) living in the continental United States.
WHAT: The theme of the contest is "Who Inspires You?" Interested students need to write an essay about one of the National Women's Hall of Fame's 302 existing inductees — plus any women from the Class of 2023. Be sure to explain in your essay why she inspires you.

All submissions must be original work. Essays must not be more than 500 words. There is no charge to enter, so students can submit as many stories as they’d like!
WHEN: All entries must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. (PT) on Tuesday, April 11.
WHY: The winning student and a parent/guardian will earn a free trip to Seneca Falls for the National Women's Hall of Fame (NWHOF) induction ceremony in September — and will participate firsthand in the festivities.
HOW: Submit entries using the form below. Each entry should include the student's name and age, a guardian's or teacher's email address, and a title.
